Highlights: Freight is a mix of both touch and no-touch deliveries.
Picking up preloaded trailers containing batteries and cells from the Interstate Battery DC and delivering them to various distribution centers.
The driver will reload the trailers with battery cores to return to the DC.
Routes will vary each week, so the driver needs to be flexible.

50% of the loads are driver-assisted by tailgating the freight with an electric pallet jack.
No-touch stops are live unloaded by the customer.

Detention pay: $20 per hour
Live load/unload: $30-$60 per stop

Holiday pay per day: $310

- Schedule: Sunday - Friday
- Start time: Departure times vary between 8 PM and 3 AM. The shift is Sunday night through Friday night/Saturday morning, being back by Saturday 4 AM at the latest.
Typically have home time on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- Shift: 11-12 hours.
- Home every other day for more than a 10-hour break.
Drivers can expect to be home on Tuesday and Thursday.
- Driver PTO: Immediately (1.5 hours per week), 6th Anniversary (2.3 hours per week), 19th Anniversary (3 hours per week)
